Juxtapoz Journal – Stickymonger Shapes and Re-Shapes Her Canvases in “D.D.D” @ Nanzuka Underground, Tokyo

NANZUKA is happy to announce the upcoming solo exhibition titled D.D.D by Stickymonger, which shall be held at two areas throughout Tokyo. Stickymonger states that her inventive influences stem from surrealist grasp Giorgio de Chirico, Balthus, and Japanese animations from the late Nineteen Seventies to the Nineteen Eighties, equivalent to “Galaxy Specific 999” and “In direction of the Terra.” Nevertheless, above all, her main inspiration comes from observing people and reflecting on her personal life experiences.
