Already dreading the top of summer time? Give your fam one thing to maintain their spirits buoyed — a model new season of DreamWorks Animation’s Gabby’s Dollhouse, and a *nautical* one at that! On Aug. 7, six recent 22-minute-long episodes hit Netflix with everybody’s favourite artful tween, her greatest pal Pandy Paws, and all of their different a-meow-zing feline associates. Created and govt produced by Traci Paige Johnson (Blue’s Clues, Daniel’s Tiger’s Neighborhood) and Jennifer Twomey (Blue’s Clues, Crew Umizoomi), Gabby’s Dollhouse combines animation and live-action for a blended media fashion that has been making a splash with preschoolers since its debut.
And judging by Scary Mommy’s unique clip, Season 8 is destined for a similar fanfare. Test it out for your self:
Within the clip, Gabby and Pandy, together with MerCat and SunnyCat, take a rainbow-slide tour of Mermaid-lantis, and because the cute quartet sings, “There’s magic in all places!” A spa, tasty selfmade mer-cakes, a mini-mermaid nursery certain to make anybody say “aww,” and an explosion of colour — what’s to not love?
Mermaid-lantis isn’t the one cease in retailer for Gabby and her BFFs (greatest feline associates, natch). A snow cruise will take them to see Pete the Polar Bear’s rainbow igloo, and CatRat sends them on a “shiney-is-miney” treasure hunt. Rounding out the enjoyable? They get to welcome Child Field’s new brother, Benny Field.
Bringing the beloved characters to life are Laila Lockhart Kraner as “Gabby,” Tucker Chandler as “Pandy Paws,” Tara Robust as “Kitty Fairy” and “Mama Field,” Donovan Patton as “CatRat,” Juliet Donenfeld as “Cakey,” Maggie Lowe as “Child Field,” Secunda Wooden as “MerCat,” Sainty Nelsen as “Pillow Cat,” Eduardo Franco as “DJ Catnip,” and Carla Tassara as “Carlita.”
As followers of the collection have come to know (and love), every character has their very own endearing persona. However Season 8, particularly, will deal with discovering everybody’s “particular sparkle” — the extra-something that makes them distinctive.
